Students ages 11-14 will learn to use colored pencils, charcoal, and acrylic paint to make unique and original artworks! Over the course of 8 weeks students will work from observation and imagination to make portraits, landscapes, still lifes, and more! Learn important concepts like color theory, value, key/tone, and composition. Students are required to bring a sketchbook.This course prepares students for Portfolio Development I.
