Are you excited about starting your journey at Leland High School?
Do you want to understand how high school differs from middle school and what opportunities await you?
Join a conversation with current Leland juniors and seniors who will share their personal experiences and practical advice about high school life. This is a great chance to learn what to expect and ask questions directly from students who are already navigating Leland.
Topics We’ll Cover
• Understanding mixed-grade classes and learning alongside upperclassmen
• What tutorial is and how to use it effectively
• Joining clubs and activities (with guidance on finding the full club list on the school website)
• Peer tutoring and academic support
• Counselor resources and support services
• Highlighting opportunities for academic exploration and student success
• How to stay up-to-date with school information (Principal’s Updates, Student Square, etc.)
• Time management tips for balancing schoolwork, sports, and other talents or activities
