About this Event
We are running a series of events about Ready to RISE across Scotland in January, follow our Eventbrite page or keep an eye on our website for future dates. These will be happening in Perth, Stirling, East Lothian and Fife.
Ready to RISE aims to help women across Scotland learn about social enterprise and discover their potential to use entrepreneurship to make a living, work flexibly and positively impact their communities.
Ready to RISE is for you if you want to return to work after a career break or want a career change to design your ideal workplace – one that allows you to make a living, work flexibly and use your skills for good. You may have not considered starting a social enterprise – or any business – before, and that’s OK. You do not need a business idea to participate in Ready to RISE.
Whatever your background or experience, you will already have skills that could help you start and run a business.
Our Fife Information Session will take place at Greener Kirkcaldy, Lang Spoon Community Kitchen, in Kirkcaldy.
We’ll be joined by social entrepreneur Elana Bader. Elana is the Founder and Director of Darroch Nurseries, a social enterprise dedicated to growing native, local provenance trees in and for Scotland. She will share her journey as an entrepreneur and how she combines her skills and passion to make a living.
Children are welcome so please bring them along.
We are really looking forward to seeing you there!
