About this Event
Create Your Own Bird Feeder
Join us this February in the Design Suite for Recycling Month and get hands-on in a creative, eco-friendly workshop! In this free, hour-long session, you’ll learn how to turn an ordinary 2-litre plastic bottle into a functional bird feeder.
Choose between two time slots—11am or 12pm on the 1st of February—making it easy to fit this fun activity into your day.
We’ll provide all the additional parts you need to assemble your feeder, and once it’s built, you’ll have the chance to personalise it with our vibrant collection of acrylic pens. Whether you go bold or natural with your design, it’s completely up to you!
This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to do their bit for the environment while creating something practical to support local wildlife. Please remember to bring along your own empty 2-litre plastic bottle—it’s essential for taking part!
When: Saturday, 1st February (11am-12pm or 12pm-1pm)
Where: Design Suite, Adam Smith Theatre, Kirkcaldy
Whether you’re joining solo, with friends, or bringing the family (remember under 16's must be accompanied by an adult), this is a fun and creative way to give new life to old materials. Spaces are limited, so book your slot early to secure your spot.
** Please note, that if you are accompanying an under-16-year-old and not participating in the workshop, you DO NOT need to book a ticket **
Let’s make something wonderful together—both for you and the birds!
