Join the League of Women Voters of Northeast Tennessee for “Ready, Set, Vote: Building Your Voting Toolkit” on Sunday, May 17 at 2 p.m. at the Food City Community Room, 920 N. State of Franklin Road, Johnson City, TN.One election is behind us—and two more are ahead. As we look toward the county general elections and federal/state primaries, now is the time to prepare.
Early voting begins July 17 for the August elections, and getting ready now helps ensure we are informed, confident, and ready at the polls.
Dave Vollrath, League Secretary, will share practical tools for voters, including:
• Checking voter registration and understanding voting options
• Finding reliable candidate information
• Building a simple voting plan and encouraging participation
Even for experienced voters, this session offers a helpful refresher and practical ways to share accurate information, support others, and encourage participation in the elections ahead.
All are welcome. Light refreshments will be provided.
