Whether your child has special needs or simply wants the experience of reading to a canine companion, Reading to Rover is a great way to provide your child with a friendly, non-judgmental audience. Bella and Honey, two certified therapy dogs, visit the library twice a month during the school year. Children read to them for 15 minutes. Choose from our books or bring your own from home. For independent readers in 1st to 5th grades on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED - Register at the circulation desk or call (817)439-4278, ext. 201
