About this Event
Picking up a tarot deck for the first time can feel overwhelming. Seventy-eight cards, all that symbolism, and no idea where to begin. The good news? You don't need to memorize anything to start reading. You just need a little guidance and a willingness to look closely at what's in front of you.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will use Stefanie Caponi's Guided Tarot as a roadmap to start reading cards with confidence. Rather than memorizing textbook definitions, we'll explore exercises from the book that help you develop your own relationship with the cards using intuition, observation, and storytelling.
The box set includes a Rider Waite Smith deck, which is the foundation most modern tarot decks are built on. Learning with this deck gives you a visual language that transfers to nearly any other deck you pick up down the road, making it an especially smart starting point for anyone planning to continue learning or take future workshops.
You'll leave with practical skills you can use immediately: how to do a simple reading for yourself, how to interpret what you see (not just what you've been told a card means), and a framework for continued practice at home.
No experience necessary. You don't need to "believe" in anything, just bring your curiosity.
