Delve into the intricate tapestry of the natural world through the lens of poetry, embracing a perspective that extends beyond humans.
About this Event

Join us for an immersive journey into the realm of eco-poetry with "Reading from Nature." In this workshop, we'll delve into the intricate tapestry of the natural world through the lens of poetry, embracing a perspective that extends beyond human-centric narratives. Eco-poetry celebrates the interconnectedness of all living beings, including plants, animals, fungi, and even inanimate objects.

Drawing inspiration from the works of renowned authors such as Gary Snyder and Adrienne Rich, participants will embark on a creative exploration of their own relationships with the environment, both at a micro and macro scale. Guided by the Sesame structure we will engage in a variety of activities including creative writing, mind-mapping, word associations, listening exercises, reading sessions, and group sharing.

Through poetic expression, we can collectively foster a deep connection with nature.
