ABOUT THE READERS
Manuel Aragon is a Latinx writer, director, and filmmaker from Denver, CO. He is currently working on a short story collection, Norteñas. His work has appeared in ANMLY. His short story, “A Violent Noise,” was nominated for the 2020 PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers. He is a 2021 Periplus Collective Fellow, a 2021 NYFA IAP Mentor, and a 2023 Tin House Residency winner. He is also a Colorado Book Award finalist as editor of the anthology, All The Lives We Ever Lived: Vol 2.
He is a graduate of NYU’s Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film and Television. His film work – writing and directing – has been featured on MTV, Pitchfork, and Stereogum.
Elizabeth Endicott is a writer and multi-disciplinary artist based in Denver, Colorado. Her work has appeared in a number of publications including The New York Times, Scientific American, and The Guardian. You can find her on Instagram @weirdbirds and Twitter @lizapricot.
She is represented by Caroline Eisenmann at Frances Goldin Literary Agency.
Erika Krouse is the author of four books of fiction and nonfiction, most recently the forthcoming collection of short stories, Save Me, Stranger, out with Flatiron Books in January 2025. Erika’s memoir, Tell Me Everything: The Story of a Private Investigation, is a New York Times Editors’ Choice, winner of the Edgar Award, the Colorado Book Award, and the Housatonic Book Award. Her short fiction has appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Esquire.com, and other places. Erika mentors for the Book Project at Lighthouse Writers Workshop, where she won the Beacon Award for Teaching Excellence.
Haley Jakobson (she/her) (gemini) is a writer and playwright living in Brooklyn, NY. In her work she explores queerness, girlhood, brains, and bodies. As a Very Online Bisexual™ Haley reaches an audience of thirty seven thousand readers on her instagram page. Haley’s debut novel OLD ENOUGH was named a New York Times Editor’s Choice, made the shortlist for the Lambda Literary Award for best bisexual fiction, and was described by Vogue as being “full of winsome bisexual chaos.”
