Join us for a free reading event at St John's Waterloo as part of Waterloo Festival 2024. Working with the festival theme of 'Gardens, Rivers and Marshes', the participants of St John's Creative Writing Club will be showcasing communal and individual pieces of poetry and flash fiction. Leading the event will be local award-winning poet Anna Robinson who will also share readings of her work.

Anna Robinson is a poet and historian from London. She has lived in Waterloo for over 40 years. Her work features the local area; its people, river, history and voices. She has three collections of poetry published, The Finders of London (2010) which was shortlisted for the Seamus Heaney Prize, Into the Woods (2014), and Whatsname Street (2021).
