Read the Room: a drop-in clown workshop

Been wanting to try a clown workshop? Looking to deepen your skills? This workshop is for all experience levels. On Monday June 8, we will play games and exercises to learn how to "tune in" with the audience and create complicité.

Michael Galligan has been a Lead Teaching Artist with Irondale since 2017. He also teaches with Classical Theater of Harlem, Queens Theater, and the Lang Youth Medical Program at New York-Presbyterian. He has led workshops at St John's University, SUNY Plattsburgh, the Upper Jay Art Center, Essex Theater Company, and more. He centers spontaneity, complicité, and risk-taking as pillars of performance technique.
