We are witness and living through a periods of tumultuous upheaval, where everything we thought we knew and everything solid beneath us doesn’t feel quite the way it used to.What happens when the stories we grew up with about who we are and how to live no longer fit, when old structures no longer hold, and continuing on the same path collectively is no longer possible? How do we let go of what we know in order to create new, livable futures for us all?
Join the Death Collective of Eastern Iowa in exploring these questions as we read and discuss Hospicing Modernity by Vanessa Machado de Oliveira this spring to imagine how we might best meet this moment and respond with clarity, compassion, and meaningful action going forward.
We will meet every other Thursday starting February 19th to April 30th
from 6:30-8pm at RSFIC at 1927 Keokuk, Iowa City

This is a give-as-led gathering to support snacks to fuel our discussions and to support the Death Collective of Eastern Iowa.
