Immerse yourself into your favorite children's books during Read Across America Week through story times, performances by our Theater Troupe, art, and sensory activities. On Thursday, March 2nd, celebrate Dr. Seuss’ 119th Birthday with FREE ENTRY and a full day of Seuss story times read by celebrity readers including special guests Kristin Sanchez, Constance Jones, Guerdy Abraira, Sheli Muniz, Ron McGill, Alexis Frazier, Jessica Blaylock and more! Experience theatrical storytelling by our Theater Troupe, art & sensory activities, and of course - birthday cake! Admission on this day is complimentary thanks to The Children’s Trust. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 3 - 5, join us for theatrical performances by our Theater Troupe, art projects inspired by our favorite authors and illustrators, and snap a photo with some of our favorite storybook characters.
On Monday, March 6, finish off Read Across America Week Mini Monday style! Bring your children under 5 and catch our Theatre Troupe's "A Very Eric Carle Story Telling", wildly paint like the kid from "Ain't Gonna Paint" and find Spot in a giant scavenger hunt of "Where's Spot?" This program is sponsored by Florida Dairy Farmers.
