Greetings Amazing Community Partners & Volunteers,
Join us for an incredible opportunity to give back through our Reactivate initiative in the Mill City neighborhood. On behalf of our 100+ community partners The Walls Project, Epiphany Foundation, and New Era is excited to announce EARTH DAY DALLAS 2026 which showcases an impactful volunteer service event that focuses on reducing neighborhood blight and promoting cultural significance through public art and community engagement. Set in the historic Mill City neighborhood if East Dallas, the event brings together a wide array of volunteers, including corporate teams, churches, and nonprofits, all working toward beautifying and improving their communities.Key features of the event include:
- Saturday Community Clean Up: Volunteers will clean sidewalks, mow grass, and cleanup vacant lots, with before-and-after documentation included in an impact report.
- Mural Painting & Resource Fair: On Saturday, 4/18/26, volunteers will gather for neighborhood cleanups and a mural painting inspired by the legacy of Mill City. Lunchtime celebration will be held at the Juanita Craft Center, with music, food, and speakers on the outdoor lawn.
This event creates an opportunity for volunteers and sponsors to contribute to the beautification and cultural enrichment of East Dallas.
