About this Event
RE:ROOTED Community Christmas
This is an evening created to bring people together during the quiet limbo between Christmas and New Year.
Curated with my friend and community member Ummi, and shaped by the generosity of the local farms we volunteer with, this dinner celebrates what the earth continues to offer in winter. All produce is locally grown, seasonal, and gathered with care, then cooked family-style by members of the RE:ROOTED community.
This evening is about connection: with each other, with our food, and with the land it comes from. After dinner, we’ll settle into an easy and unhurried night. Mulled wine, board games, conversation, and music.
Ticketing
RE:ROOTED runs entirely on volunteered time, donated produce, and the belief that London feels less disconnected when we create spaces that bring people back together.
To keep this evening accessible while recognising the real labour, ingredients, and care behind it, we’re offering two ways to support the event:
🌱 1. Pay-What-You-Can Seat at the Table
Choose any donation amount that feels comfortable.
This helps us cover essentials and sustain future community gatherings.
Your contribution secures a seat for the full vegetarian, family-style supper.
🌾 2. Community Support Contribution (for those who can’t attend)
If you can’t join us but want to support the RE:ROOTED mission, you can contribute here.
This helps cover ingredients, materials, and the ongoing creation of accessible community spaces in London.
Every contribution (of any size) helps keep the RE:ROOTED community powered rather than commercially funded.
Our Why
RE:ROOTED exists to help people connect in a city that rarely pauses for it.
We create small moments of slowness, togetherness, and a return to what feels organic and real.
Community doesn’t appear on its own; we build it. This dinner is a small, deliberate act of doing exactly that.
