Please join 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐑𝐂𝐖𝐀) and 𝐄𝐥𝐤 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐓) for this fantastic collaborative cleanup along the beautiful shores of the Sacramento River! We will continue our progress through this forested riparian habitat while enjoying amazing views of the river. Sadly, there is a good deal of trash accumulation that needs to be removed.
Located in the South Land Park/Little Pocket neighborhood, we will gather at the public entrance gate off of Riverside Blvd, just south of 35th Avenue. Parking will be available in the gravel directly in front of the event site. If that area is full, parking is available in the nearby neighborhood (Surf Way, Capstan Way). Look for RCWA signs.

This event is suitable for ages 12 and older. Any minors must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult throughout the event.
We will provide bags, but please bring along your sturdy, mud-resistant footwear, grabbers, buckets, and gloves - a limited number of loaner buckets and grabbers may be available. We will not be entering the water during this event.
As with all events shared by RCWA and EGAT, participation is performed solely at your own risk. Please place safety FIRST and do only what you feel comfortable doing. Moreover, participants will be required to sign a Release and Waiver form if they have not done so previously.
Overall, be safe, have fun and get some exercise with a purpose.
