Discover the thrill of Radio Controlled Airplanes with the Chain-O-Lakes Eagles RC Flying Club, an Academy of Model Aeronautics Gold Leader Club! This two part program teaches you how to get started in the RC hobby safely, affordably and without crashing! No prior experience or investment is needed.The first class features instruction at the building in Woodscreek Park which will include:
* Overview of RC Systems, Equipment and Safety
* Lots of "Hands-On" work, including:
* Assembly of internal electronic components
* Work with a 3 axis gimbal and controller to understand
control inputs.
* Build a foundation for your first flights using a flight
simulator.
During this first session you will schedule a time and day that work for you to meet at our club field in Hebron, IL with one of our instructors to have your first flight lessons using our club trainer aircraft and radios.
