Ceroc High Wycombe has, over time, morphed into a night like no other, where the usual rules don't apply. A cutting-edge event with music far from the original Ceroc formula. This attitude is fully reflected in the classes and in the dancers' reactions to new music. It's a DJ's dream to play new material, and High Wycombe nights are in a league of their own, especially for a mid-week class night.
A good dance night can unleash a wave of curious creativity, taking you out of your daily life and into a wonderful, hypnotic flow state. On Tuesdays, we have a room of dancers who are confident in dancing to melodic and rhythmic tracks, and we know there are dancers out there who would love what we do.
On the last Tuesday of the month, we are switching it up with RAW. New cutting-edge music mixed in an easy-to-follow format, driving your creativity with a mixture of rhythmic energy and melodic space.
On the one hand, SILC delivers a brilliant framework for smoothing out or funkifying your dancing. On the other hand, the introduction of Fusion incorporates mastery in the close holds for melodic and expressive moments. The combination gives the best of both worlds scenario, so no matter where the music takes you, you are fully equipped.
At the start of each RAW, there will be a 45-minute icebreaker class incorporating SILC and Fusion to improve your freestyle dancing dramatically.
Our first RAW will be on November 25th, followed by the Christmas RAW on December 23rd. If you are new to Cressex School, it's a few minutes away from the M40. From Cressex Road, turn into Holmer Lane to reach the central car park.
