A story is just truth. Your truth. Come share it.

We invite you to the stage—hands shaking, heart pounding—to tell your story.
About this Event

R.A.W. Storytelling is relaxed, authentic and sometimes wily. Join us to spark connection, fuel imagination, and share in experiences.

December's theme is "Gifts"—gifts given, gifts recieved, tangible gifts, spiritual gifts, all the gifts. Or you can ignore this theme and give the audience the gift of a story about something totally different. Wearing a holiday sweater is a bonus.

How does it work?

The doors open at 5:30. Storytellers may sign up for one of the 13 spots (first come, first served) with the evening's host. Grab a drink and a seat. The show starts at 6 PM. When your name is called, the stage is yours for seven minutes. (You'll get a 30 second warning at 6 1/2 minutes. You will be gently ushered off the stage at 7 1/2 minutes.)

Can I just come listen?

Yes, please! The tellers love to have a big audience!

Can my kids come? Does my story have to be "adult"?

This is a 21+ event. All kinds of stories are welcome.* You can curse if you want. You can tell hard stories. Life isn't all kittens and rainbows. But we like kitten stories, too.

How much does it cost?

This is a donations based event. Ways that you can support this event and keep it going include buying a beverage or two at the event (and tipping the fabulous bartenders, of course!) and bringing a friend. You do not need a ticket for this event; however, if you get a ticket here, you may make a donation in the amount of your choosing. The host will also accept cash donations ($10 suggested) at the event.

No hatin'. Only love.

*We are LGBTQIA-affirming and know that Black Lives Matter. We will not tolerate hate speech, misogyny, racism, or homophobia.
