The third annual Rave Ride will take place on Saturday 6th June. We will explore the iconic venues from Leicester's rich history of rave and house music within the underground electronic scene of the late 1980's to mid 1990's.
We'll visit eleven venues across the city centre and discover the history of the buildings that housed nights such as Nemesis, Total Kaos, Head, Die Hard, Bliss and Beef to name a few.
While we journey around the city DJ Cutz will be dropping an old school set on a bike. Get your requests ready!!
The Rave Ride is a nostalgic trip down memory lane and a treat for the senses, taking you back to the days of DJs, MCs, smiley acid faces, whistle posses, strobe lights and lasers.
The ride will set off from the Bike Park at Town Hall Square at 16.00 and will conclude at 18.00 with a visit to the Hold Tight Raver exhibition containing rave flyer art work, tape cassettes for you to listen to and VHS for you to watch.
A secure temporary bike park will be available until 19.30. If you would like to join us but don't currently own a bike, contact us and we will help to source one for you.
