Located on the outskirts of town, find the best day out in Bath with breathtaking views, fascinating museum collections, stunning gardens, gallery shop, children’s play area and new café. The Museum’s home is a Grade I listed Georgian estate with gardens designed by famous US landscape architects Oehme van Sweden, representing some of the most iconic movements in American landscape design. As well as the New American Garden, with its contemporary free-form style, there is also the historical Mount Vernon – a replica from George Washington’s famous house outside of Washington – an arboretum, amphitheatre, wilderness trail and sweeping parkland for further exploration. Located in the Cotswolds AONB, you’ll find spectacular views across the Limpley Stoke valley.
Visit the Museum, which features American arts and heritage, and experience two special exhibitions a year in the Gallery, as well as a seasonal programme of exciting events, including talks, family fun, wellbeing mornings, outdoor theatre, live music and much more.
