About this Event
After the amazing time we had at Frocktails in 2024 this year we are doing it again!!
We're moving to the lovely river side location of the Lockbrook Inn in Weston Bath (plenty of parking for those driving). With a private room, tasty food and an outside space if the weather is in our favour it should be a fantastic evening
Come along for an evening of fabric and pattern chat, admiring me made dresses and some ice breakers to get to know people. We will also have an enitely optional catwalk after requests were made last year - plus a raffle and sewing goodies.
I'm also delighted to say that Nicola's Crafts and Fabrics will be joining us for a pop up shop on the night- yay!!
The evening will start at 7 with a welcome drink and mingling, followed by the catwalk and then a buffet, with then more time for sewing and fabric chat. There will be plenty of photo opportunities and time to meet likeminded sewists - it'll be GREAT.
Every attendee will get a welcome goody card with some sewing treats (more details to be revealed nearer the time).
If you'd like to take part in the castl cat walk please select that ticket option when you buy. You can change your mind either way so I won't hold you to your decision, but it gives me an idea of numbers. And I promise, the catwalk isn't to decided the best outfit - it's to o be able to show off your handmade wardrobe that we spend so long making!
I totally get that coming to one of these when you don't know anyone may be a little daunting (conferences with the networking breaks terrify me) but I promise no one will be left alone. When you arrive, if you don't know anyone we will introduce you to people and we will do a couple of ice breakers early on in the evening to allow you to meet new people. You already have one topic in common with everyone in the room which is a great start!! We will also have a what's app group about a month before the event to say hi and share our makes.
If you want to stay in Bath overnight we can put people in touch to liaise over hotels. And maybe build in a sewing trip to The Sewing Studio if you wanted to!
