Join us for a powerful evening in the company of four indigenous healers from the Brazilian Amazon, as we gather in prayer, song, and sacred medicine. This will be the closing ceremony of their time in Denmark, after a week of offering their healing work on these lands.
A B O U T T H E H E A L E R S
We are honoured to be joined by two elder pajés from the Madhá people – Maná and Ratsuhá Madhá – whose community came into contact with the outside world only 40 years ago and who carry rare, intact ancestral knowledge. Maná is a renowned healer and plant doctor with extraordinary skill in both physical and spiritual medicine, while Ratsuhá brings the strength of the grandmothers, specialising in healing chants, childbirth, and plant medicine.
From the Yawanawá people, we welcome Vêsku, an elder grandmother, midwife, and guardian of ancestral plant wisdom, deeply committed to preserving indigenous culture, along with her son Runuiná, a gifted young musician blending the traditional Yawanawá songs with guitar arrangements, bringing renewed beauty to these ancient melodies.
R A P É
Rapé is a non-psychoactive sacred shamanic snuff prepared from medicinal plants of the Amazon, most often with a base of mapacho tobacco and blended with ashes and herbs from the forest. Made in ceremony by experienced elders, rapé is used to cleanse the mind, open the heart, align energy channels, and connect deeply with the spirit of the forest. It can bring clarity, focus, grounding, and purification, and is always offered with prayer and intention.
In this circle - for those who want - the rapé will be administered in the traditional way, accompanied by the presence and prayers of the four visiting healers.

We will be guided into the healing soundscape of Yawanawá & Madhá chants – ancient songs carried through generations, used to call in spiritual allies, activate the medicine, and restore harmony in body, mind, and spirit. These chants are not just music; they are living prayers, woven with the power of the forest, opening pathways for deep connection and transformation.
A beautiful opportunity to sit in ceremony with wisdom keepers from the Amazon, receive their medicine, and be held by the vibration of their songs.
