About this Event

Join Rapha Manchester, All in Racing, Out Velo and Rainbow Riders for a celebration of diversity and inclusivity in cycling. Get ready to ride through the Manchester streets and into the hills and countryside in a display of solidarity and support!

All are welcome to participate, including allies and RCC members. In this cross community event we will be joined by other LGBTQ+ cycling groups including LDN Riders and Peak Queer Adventures.

THE RIDES
Community Ride Leaders from LGBTQ+ cycling clubs Out Velo and Rainbow Riders will take us on two rides:
Pennine Puncher - a 90km, 1400m ascent hilly ride into the Pennines above Manchester:
https://www.komoot.com/tour/1438723807
A range of paces will be available for the Pennine Puncher between 20-28kmh average, suitable for intermediate club riders and above. We expect most participants to be in the 20-23kmh range on this hilly ride. See if you can keep pace with Josh Jones of All in Racing and other racers in our fastest group!
Cheshire Canter - a 50km, 180m ascent flat ride through the best bits of Cheshire, including Dunham Massey:
https://www.komoot.com/tour/1411341453
We will run two paces on the Cheshire Canter, a Party Pace of 18-20kmh average, suitable for all road cyclists, and, if there is demand, a faster ride of 24-25kmh for those used to club riding, but wanting a shorter day.
Please let us know which route you fancy through selecting your ticket below, however you are welcome to change this on the day.

ON THE DAY
Please arrive between 0945 and 0955. Ride Leaders will hold up pace /route cards, please gather around the leader most suitable to your average pace (as on Strava) and route. Groups will depart in a staggered manner, fastest paces first.

This community event is fully unsupported, there is no medical support, support vehicle, mechanical assistance, or food/drink provided.
