RANT Performance Festival: Monologues and Solos
RANT is a new yearly festival dedicated to short, intensive solo performances and monologues across theatre, movement, and voice. It will take place yearly in both Copenhagen in February and Paris in April.
A collaboration between H20 and KFTS, RANT is conceived as a meeting point for H20 and KFTS colleagues, invited artists and those professionals who wish to enter deeply into the intensity of the monologue and the craft, presence, and compositional rigor of a solo work. The festival offers a space to test ideas, sharpen performance language, and engage with the demands of standing alone before an audience?where voice, body, imagination, and inner architecture carry the full weight of the event.
RANT 26 foregrounds risk-taking, immediacy, and personal authorship, inviting performers to work at the edge of form, emotion, and structure, and to explore how meaning emerges through sustained focus, precision, and embodied decision-making.
