Rankeerat and Ananya are a duo that formed back in 2018. Rankeerat has been a part of The Backyard Shrooms since 2014, and Ananya has been training professionally for the past 7 years. Having been musically inclined since childhood, the two of them naturally ended up gravitating towards each other to express their mutual passion for music. They take inspiration from duos like The ** and The White Stripes, but their sound is much more diverse. There is no particular genre they stick to; it ranges from artists like Arctic Monkeys and The Neighbourhood to Maroon 5 and various underground artists. Their aim is simply to make the audience have a good time, and possibly hear a few of their favourite songs in there.
