As a South Asian femme, your voice is necessary for the world to witness, but sometimes you pull away or stay silent in order to keep the peace. And you desire connections with other Desis who want to live outside cultural expectations and will truly understand what you’re going through.

Join us at Rani, Express Yourself, and we will show you how your voice and story are a pathway to wellness. You'll also have others around to hype you up so that you don't so feel alone!!

Nurture your emotional wellbeing, build self confidence, and foster a sense of community.

Rani, Express Yourself includes a delicious vegan dinner from Bombay Beach, a creative writing practice, meditation, guided movement practice, community connections, and even an opportunity for you grab the mic and express yourself!

You will be be guided by 2 South Asian American wellness practioners who specialize in harnessing your creative expression for growth and healing. With a combined 30+ years of professional and personal experiences, Nisha & Mohini are passionate about creating spaces for BIPOC to move from systemic & generational trauma to healing through creative expression and reclaiming our roots.

Nisha

Nisha Mody (she/her) is a certified Life Coach for Liberatory Dreamers, Facilitator, and Writer. Nisha values growth, relationship, and liberation, and she helps people show up and be vulnerable so that everyone else’s voice doesn’t get in the way of their truth. Nisha has worked as a consultant, recruiter, speech-language pathologist, and librarian. In all of these roles, she had to understand people’s needs and meet them where they were at to facilitate change for themselves and the world.

Mohini

Mohini (she/her) guides others to connect with themselves using emotional release practices so they let go of stuckness from the body in order to create space for all of their desires to come true. She will help you release judgment, shame and perfectionism so that you will activate your voice and innate body wisdom, create deeper levels of self-trust, intimacy and emotional expression, all so that you have meaningful deep relationships in your life. Mohini uses her prior 14 years as a speech language pathologist in healthcare & in education in new ways within wellness spaces to support people to express themselves, using their body, breath, and movement. This integration of awareness and presence IS living a tantric lifestyle. Mohini has curated multiple embodiment experiences for artists such as Lizzy Jeff and Londrelle, as well as lead workshops, retreats and festivals.
