Ranger Beads: Pacing & Orienteering

We want you to find your way in the wilderness! Join the Sky Meadows State Park team for an introduction to orienteering. Participants will learn how to establish a pace count for tracking distance on the trail, will craft a set of Ranger Beads for keeping tracking of the ground covered, learn how to orient using a map and compass, and test their new-found skills with fun, hands-on application around the historic area of the park.
