Welcome to R&B & Ready — a singles mixer that blends smooth R&B energy with real connection and Bay Area flavor.
This isn’t speed dating, and it’s definitely not another club night. It’s a curated experience for people who want something different — a space to meet other singles in a grown, soulful atmosphere where the music sets the tone and real conversations take center stage.

Unlike a brunch or party vibe, this night is intentionally paced. The music will be the soundtrack, not the main event — allowing space for eye contact, conversation, and chemistry.

- 10:00 PM – Event concludes

People hear “DJ Heartbreak” and assume I don’t believe in love — but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I believe in it so much that I’m building spaces for it to happen.
My name is Stefan Nixon, and for months I’ve been dreaming up something more intentional than a party, and more meaningful than another night out. R&B & Ready is for people who miss real moments — the spark in a slow glance, the ease of chemistry when the music is right, and the rare magic of meeting someone who just gets you.
This first San Francisco edition is more than an event — it’s the first step in what I hope becomes a new kind of tradition.
