A Professional Learning Workshop
About this Event
In Reggio-inspired and IB classrooms, assessment is not just about measuring learning—it's about making learning visible, meaningful, and connected to the learner’s journey.
This is the first in a series of interactive workshops that will investigate how the Reggio Emilia Approach and the International Baccalaureate framework come together to enrich and empower student learning in Middle School classrooms.
This workshop invites middle school educators to reflect on documentation as a powerful tool for measuring and reflecting our impact on learning and planning for future inquiry. Participants will leave with an understanding of the role of documentation in the Reggio Emilia approach, how documentation and reflection practices align to improve conceptual understanding at La Scuola, and practical tips for how to build documentation into regular teaching and learning practices.
