Step back in time at “Rancho Day” on Saturday, November 2 from 10am - 3pm. Discover how early 19th-century ranchos operated with family-friendly activities, games, crafts, and live demonstrations, including rope tricks by charro Christian Navarrete. Explore the history of this period with educational displays, and enjoy traditional Mexican food for purchase.Author Robin Chapman will sign her books, including "The Valley of Heart's Delight: True Tales from Around the Bay,” from 10am - 1pm. For a hands-on experience, join the Mexican Tin Art workshop from 11:30am - 12:30pm, led by Rachel Palacios. The workshop is open to 2nd grade and up, with a $20 materials fee.
