Day 1 – Ranch Riding Clinic
Saturday, April 25th
The first clinic will focus entirely on ranch riding and the skills needed to successfully compete in this rapidly growing discipline. Ranch riding continues to gain popularity on the East Coast as riders look for events that showcase the versatility, responsiveness, and natural movement of a working ranch horse.
Robin will focus on what judges are looking for in the class and how to correctly ride each phase of a ranch riding pattern. Riders will work in a group setting that allows them to receive individual instruction while also learning by watching other riders in the session.
Topics will include:
• Understanding what judges are looking for in ranch riding
• How to ride each maneuver and phase of a ranch riding pattern
• Improving transitions, body control, and flow
• Developing the relaxed, forward style expected in the class
This clinic is ideal for riders preparing for competition or looking to strengthen their foundation in ranch riding.

Day 2 – Cow Working Clinic
Sunday, April 26
The second clinic will focus on developing confidence and skill while working cattle.
The first half of the day will utilize the Real Cow Training Machine, a mechanical cow system designed to simulate the movement of a cow. This allows riders and horses to develop proper position, timing, and feel in a consistent and controlled setting.
The second half of the day will transition to working live cattle, applying the skills developed earlier in the session.
Topics covered will include:
• Reading cattle and understanding cow behavior
• Rating a cow and staying in sync with movement
• Correct body position when working a cow
• Developing feel, timing, and horsemanship
