Continue the "edu-tainment" after the living history parade at the Juneteenth Freedom Festival at Tappen Park from 1:00pm to 6:00pm to learn about Freedom Day while commemorating when the news of liberation for people of African descent came to Texas on June 19, 1865 through historical reenactment by the Staten Island Juneteenth Freedom Players, DJ music, live performances, Vendors and more! Set off the festivities at 11:30am with Crunch Fitness workshops and health resources at the Freedom Health Pavilion at Tappen Park.
