Financial Peace Course Starts May 13th
This nine-week course will cover topics from budgeting to managing debt, to investing and planning for retirement. This is not your typical financial class; it is broken down into easy-to-understand lessons to help you take control of your finances.
Class Schedule: Wednesdays, 1:30 – 3:00pm at KCHP : The Shop
Classes start Wednesday, May 13 and run through Wednesday, July 8 (Class on 5/27 will be held in the conference room)
Our very own Mike Kenny, Exec VP, is one of the facilitators along with Wanda Kaiser and Ryan Hitchcock, following the Ramsey Financial Freedom method.
The curriculum will cover:
- Taking control of your money
- Attacking debt with a vengeance and pay it off fast
- Building wealth
- Saving for emergencies
- Wise spending
- Choosing the right insurance plans
- Navigating the real estate world
- Investing wisely
- Giving generously
Lesson 1: Learn how to create and stick to a budget and build your starter emergency fund!
*Note you do not have to commit to all 9 weeks, although they build off one another you are welcome to come to as many as you are able.
