Ryne Owen aka Ramblin’ Ryne is a songwriter and musician from New Hampton, IA. He grew up in Ralston, IA. He’s been in several different bands over the years. Most recently, he’s revived his band the Wapsi River Ramblers with a great group of musicians and songwriters from northeast Iowa. They have two albums of music streaming online titled “Lie to Me” and “A Working Title” that are available almost everywhere. They’re also working on recording and releasing more music in 2026.Ryne’s recently had his first solo release in 6 years titled “Face Your Fears” and that is also available on most major streaming platforms. He’s also currently working on some new music and solo releases for 2026.
Over the last 6 years, Ryne has played around 900 dates and 11 different states. Most recent was his trip to North Carolina which included stops in Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee and South Carolina. He’s also played in Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Colorado and of course his home state of Iowa.
He’ll make you feel every emotion possible through his songwriting and storytelling. From slow, sad ones to upbeat, happy songs. His catalog of music and stories do not disappoint.
