About this Event
Chamber Dance Project presents its highly-anticipated June Season: Ramblin’, featuring live performances by the Tony Award®-winning sensation, The Red Clay Ramblers Band June 27-29, 2024 at the Sidney Harman Hall in Washington, D.C.
Contemporary ballet meets the rousing and soul-stirring bluegrass and old-time string tunes of The Red Clay Ramblers in two premieres: The world premiere of Book of Stones, a new ballet by guest choreographer Christian Denice and the Washington, D.C. premiere of Ramblin’ Suite choreographed by Diane Coburn Bruning which played to standing ovations with Atlanta Ballet and Milwaukee Ballet. In addition to this star-studded headliner, Chamber Dance Project will showcase two compelling works from our repertoire, Sur and Weave the Wind.
Join us after the Opening Night performance for our Summer Solstice Party, where audience members will get to mix and mingle with The Red Clay Ramblers, dancers, and our resident string quartet. In the Celebration of Light, please wear white!
