About this Event
As the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly convenes this September, we call on all advocates of justice to stand with the Iranian people in their ongoing struggle for peace, freedom, justice, and democracy.
For more than four decades, the people of Iran have endured systematic oppression, mass executions, and violent state repression. Under the current regime, these human rights violations have only intensified. Since President Masoud Pezeshkian took office, over 1,700 executions—including of political prisoners—have been documented by Amnesty International. On July 28, 2025, two political prisoners, Mehdi Hasani (49) and Behrooz Ehsani (69), were executed after years of torture and incarceration.
We believe that neither war nor appeasement will bring sustainable peace to Iran or the region. The only viable path forward is democratic change—led by the people of Iran.
This rally is more than a protest. It is a call to action—a platform to elevate the voices of the brave youth and women of Iran who continue to risk everything for a free and democratic future.
By standing together, we send a clear message to world leaders:
No war. No appeasement. Regime change—by the people of Iran.
We urge NGOs, advocacy groups, student organizations, faith communities, and all human rights defenders to join this urgent effort. You can support the rally by:
- Lending your organization’s logo as a supporter
- Encouraging your members to attend
- Spreading the word through your networks and platforms
Your presence matters. Together, we can amplify the voices of those demanding freedom and dignity inside Iran.
Please mark your calendar and help us share this message widely.
