Join Lee & Whiteside Counties Ag in the Classroom for a new take on educator PD. Located at The Butcher Shop, owner Dale Pfundstein will walk us through the business' origin story and commitment to local agriculture. With a half a beef as the ultimate teaching tool, Tom Eickman will discuss different cuts of meat, quality standards, food safety, inspections, and the careers involved. The workshop concludes with Grilling 101 and a look at the nutrition packed into red meat and a review of AITC resources for your classroom from your coordinators Diane Baker and Katie Pratt.
