Learn More: The Cambridge Community Learning Center (CLC) is a vital resource, offering free educational programs to adults who want to improve their lives and actively participate in our community. Through ESOL, high school equivalency, and career and college readiness programs, the CLC helps learners gain the skills they need to succeed.
Why this matters: To ensure that these life-changing programs continue, the Friends of the Community Learning Center, a volunteer-run nonprofit, raises essential funds to support CLC students with academic counseling, emergency financial aid and, especially, through scholarships. As the main supporters of the Bridge to College program, the Friends help prepare students for higher education–first through academic preparation classes, and then through financial assistance in the form of college scholarships.
Join us on Thursday, June 4 at the EF Education First Headquarters and become part of this amazing, supportive community. Come share an evening of good company, delicious appetizers, and wine and beer, all while making a real difference in the lives of adult learners. Meet members of the Friends, CLC students and teachers, and tell us what is most important to you about our greater Cambridge community.
