About this Event
This conference will focus on collecting, storing and utilizing rainwater that is shed from rooftops, parking lots and other hard surfaces throughout the region. While our landscapes, soils, and playas can be seen as the largest “harvesters” of water, we have an ever-growing number of structures that could provide residents and businesses a means to store high quality water to offset and reduce our reliance on groundwater. Our event will offer information and ideas, as well as field tours, exhibits during break sessions, and opportunities to network and build strategies for regenerating our water resources.
While supplies last, attendees may also register when checking out to receive a barrel, and that you have a way of picking it up on March 27th at the WT Enterprise Center from 4-6pm. Sizes of the boxes that contain the Rain Barrels are 27” length X 26” width X 36” height.
