About this Event
A curious green tree frog welcomes children into the rainforest, where sounds, songs, movement and touch bring the forest to life. Along the way, the frog meets Parrot and Bear Cat and invites children to sing, echo, drum, and explore textures together. As afternoon rain fades into night. the forest grows quiet and dark. When the frog feels unsure, glowing fireflies appear to guide the way home. The journet ends in calm and comfort, as children rest together beneath soft light, learning that friendship, cooperation and gentle guidance can help us feel safe and at ease.

About the Festival:
In 2026, the 398.2 Storytelling Festival invites audiences to journey on "Adventures Across the World." Through 20 vibrant storytelling sessions held online and in libraries across Singapore, listeners will travel through rainforests, oceans, magical kingdoms and legendary lands. From clever tricksters and fearless heroes to kind creatures and ordinary people making brave choices, each story reveals courage, friendship, humour and heart. Join us as storytellers bring the world to life - reminding us that wherever we come from, the spiritof adventure and the power of stories can connect us all.

About Storytelling Association (Singapore):
Oral Storytelling is an ancient artform that has woven its way into humanity, bringing people close together, imparting wisdom and adding life to the world.
Beginning in 2006, the association is a place for the appreciation of storytelling, to nurture the growth of storytellers, to support professional storytellers and share information on storytelling events in Singapore.
The Association provides members with opportunities to hone their storytelling skills and share oral stories, at home, at work, in schools and in the community such as the 398.2 Festival.
