Rainer Crosett, one of two 2025 recipients of the American Recital Debut Award, celebrates his New York recital debut tonight at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, performing a program that reflects the repertoire shaping his artistic identity. The Award was established in 2023 by pianist and longtime collaborator Victor Santiago Asunción in honor of the legendary American cellist Lynn Harrell, to carry forward Mr. Harrell’s legacy of extraordinary musicianship and humanity. It supports exceptional emerging classical artists who demonstrate outstanding potential for a performance career.
