What to Bring:
- Sturdy hiking boots/ Sturdy Sneakers (required)—some sections of the trail can be rocky and steep.
- Weather-appropriate layers—it’s spring, so expect unpredictable temps!
- A daypack with water, snacks, and a packed lunch for the trail.
- A camera or phone to capture those Insta-worthy waterfall shots.
- A sense of adventure and an open mind for an epic day out.
Event Schedule:
10:00 AM – Meet at The Standard Biergarten in NYC
10:30 AM – Depart for Minnewaska State Park Preserve
12:30 AM – Arrive at the trailhead and begin the hike
2:00 PM – Snack break at Rainbow Falls (cue the photo ops!)
3:30 PM – Conclude the hike and head to a nearby café
5:30 PM – Depart for NYC
Timing is approximate and will depend on traffic and the group’s pace.
