Rainbow Canyon: Site Listening & Landcare

Join us for a workshop / workday on the future of Rainbow Canyon. We'll be hosting site listening activities to get to know the Canyon, as well a some good ol fashion weeding and watering.

Project partners include Test Plot, USC, Community Nature Connection and the Mt. Washington Alliance. This work is supported by Water Foundation’s Safe, Clean Water Program Public Education and Community Engagement initiative and the Rose Foundation’s California Watershed Protection Fund.

Recommendations:

• Wear closed-toe shoes, layers, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty 
• Hats and sun protection are highly recommended
• Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gardening gloves
• Please bring a reusable water bottle and snacks to keep yourself fueled
• Bonus: iNaturalist app downloaded on your phone so you can help us make observations!
