Rain Run Flood Resilience 💧
Join us at Art Intersection MKE on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 10:00 AM. We'll have a group walk/run from Art Intersection MKE to Washington Park and back, then build flood resilience through community art-making, and resources for protecting our neighborhoods.
All ages are welcome to attend. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Introductions and Check in
Info: The first 30 minutes we'll allow people to get settled into the space and check-in. This will also be a time for introductions so we can get to know each other, learn more about Run Black & Green.

Group Walk/Run
Info: Attendees will have the option to walk or run for up to 2 miles. The hosts will inform and guide attendees through the loop route from Art Intersection MKE to Washington Park and back based on which option they choose.

Cool Down / Intermission
Info: We'll gather for a cool down and have a short intermission for attendees to patronize vendors.

Tour of Outdoor Gallery Space
Info: We'll tour Art Intersection MKE's outdoor gallery space, learn more about the importance of the space, and how the space advances environmental justice.

Community Art Making / Workshop
Info: In remembrance of the August 2025 Milwaukee historic flooding, we'll have a workshop and community art making station centered around building flood resilience.
