Learn about Rain Barrel Installations with Anderson Pickens County Stormwater Partners at the Sarlin Library in Liberty!About this Event
Want to build your own rain barrel or install an Ivy Rain Barrel? Join Anderson Pickens County Stormwater Partners (APCSP) and Pickens County Clemson Extension for a workshop on building rain barrels, how to install them, and what functions they can be utilized for. We will help the Sarlin Library in Liberty, SC install their very first rain barrel to pair with their new pollinator garden!
Rain barrels are a simple way to capture and reuse rainwater from your roof for watering plants and gardens. This helps reduce stormwater runoff while saving water and supporting healthier landscapes.
Small steps like installing a rain barrel can make a big difference for our local waterways.
The workshop will be held on May 15th, 2026 from 5 PM - 6 PM at the Sarlin Library (15 S Palmetto St. Liberty, SC 29657)
You will also have the opportunity to purchase your own Ivy Rain Barrel through APCSP while supplies last.
