Ragnar’s isn’t just any bar—it’s Texas’ ultimate shrine to Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne. Flame-lit walls decked out with rare Black Sabbath and Ozzy memorabilia, iconic Zakk Wylde guitars proudly on display (especially in the exclusive VIP room where true devotees gather in reverent awe), and the spirit of the Prince of Darkness pulsing through every corner of this Viking-inspired live music and comedy haven in the Hill Country. We’ve been headbanging strong for 7 epic years, and for this milestone bash, the action will explode on our massive 40’ outdoor stage—the bone-rattling, starlit centerpiece that turns every show into an open-air metal ritual!
Headlining the ritual: OZZ – Texas Ozzy Tribute Band – widely regarded as the best and most faithful Ozzy tribute band in the world! This Houston powerhouse channels the Madman’s legendary chaos, soaring vocals, blistering riffs, and pure authenticity like no other. With frontman Iggy Igbourne delivering spot-on Ozzy energy, they’ve sold out major venues, swept Texas tribute awards (including Best Tribute Band, Best Tribute Singer, Best Tribute Guitarist, and more), and earned raves for providing “the next best thing to seeing the Ozzman himself.” And here’s the full-circle magic: OZZ was the very first tribute band to ever play at Ragnar’s, igniting our legacy years ago. Opening with thrash precision: The Punishment Due – Megadeth Tribute – Hailing from San Antonio, Texas, this dedicated powerhouse recreates the razor-sharp thrash metal fury of Dave Mustaine’s Megadeth with deadly accuracy and high-energy stage presence. Drawing from the band’s iconic eras like “Peace Sells… But Who’s Buying?” and “Rust in Peace,” they rip through staples such as “Symphony of Destruction,” “Peace Sells,” “Holy Wars… The Punishment Due,” “Skin O’ My Teeth,” and more—fueling the pit with authentic riffs, solos, and 90 minutes of unbridled aggression.
Kicking it off with local fire: Fear The Bucket – Buckethead Tribute A mesmerizing solo tribute artist channeling the enigmatic guitar virtuoso Buckethead, known for his bucket-on-head mystique, innovative shredding, and genre-bending instrumentals.
