About this Event
WORKSHOP DATE: SATURDAY APRIL 26, 2-4pm
In this workshop you will start on a rug or basket of your own design, crocheted from fabrics that would go to waste. Utilizing old clothes and bedding and fabrics that don't look great in quilts, we will cover the basics of making fabric yarn and crocheting forms. A 16mm crochet hook is included along with plenty of fabric. If you would like to bring your own fabrics, stretchy and non-stretchy are welcome.
The studio is located in a second-story walk-up, with no elevator. We have a cozy tea setup and you're welcome to bring your own snacks. Also you can take off your shoes and bring slippers if you are so inclined! Masking is required and KN95 masks are provided if you forget yours. Please arrive on time or a little early so we can make the most of the afternoon.
