After the successful concert NOX in April, join the Raffles Singers, the ROS Singers, and the KGBL Chamber Choir (Slovenia) on the AWAKENING journey into a new dawn. With world premieres and masterpieces of living composers, we celebrate contemporary cultural gems from Singapore, Slovenia and around the world, bringing forth the spirit of vivacity, creativity, and life.
Led by our award-winning Artistic Director Mr. Toh Ban Sheng and celebrated Slovenian conductor Ambrož Čopi, the joint forces by the Raffles Singers and the homegrown professional ROS Singers promise a tour de force performance with the KGBL Chamber Choir (Slovenia) - one of the world’s top choirs.
Duration of concert is 120 minutes long including intermission.
Public Workshop (24 August 2024, 3:30pm - 5:30pm, Raffles Institution)
KGBL Chamber Choir and Maestro Ambrož Čopi invite you to a special public workshop on Slovenian music and choral techniques. The symbiotic development of choirs and Slovenian choral repertoire, and the emphasis of choral music education in Slovenia as an obligatory subject in schools resulted in the high level of choral singing. Get upclose and personal with the celebrated Maestro and the award-winning choir.

Rating / Age Limit

- Recommended admission age – Children above 4 years old.
- No admission for infants in arms.
- All patrons must purchase a ticket for entry.
- Admission is subject to tickets produced at the entrance.
Late Seating Advisory
- Doors open for admission at 7.15pm.
- For the enjoyment of all audience members, our performance will start promptly at the time printed on the ticket.
- Please be seated 15 minutes before the performance start time.
- Due to the nature of the performance, admission will only be permitted at a suitable point once the performance has commenced.
Photography / Video Recording Rules
- No Photography, Video recording or Audio recording is permitted for this event.
- Photography and video recordings will be taking place at the theatre foyer before and after the performance. As such, you may be photographed or be seen in our video footage.
- These recordings may be displayed or published on our website, social media platforms, publications and publicity materials.
