A central figure in Wellington’s Cuban and Latin music communities for over two decades, Rafa leads an accomplished octet performing a sophisticated fusion of Afro-Cuban rhythms and contemporary jazz.
The ensemble features Rafa Ferrer Noel. Mikey Trujillo and John Rae (percussion), Jacqui Nyman (bass), Ben Wilcock (piano), André Paris and Ben Hunt (horns).
